From Darwin to Esperance, there are ports and harbours, fascinating tourist destinations and pristine waters, rivalling any in the world and unique to Western Australia.

In the North West, the Kimberley is only just being discovered by the yachts visiting Australia and the diving, along with whale sharks near Exmouth and Ningaloo Reef, compares with any in the world. Often the most interesting and rare experiences are only accessible by boat or helicopter. Further South, Fremantle has been quoted as having the potential to be 'the best superyacht harbour in the world' as it is one of the best preserved 19th century cities in the world, was host to the first defence of the America's Cup outside the United States in scores of years and has a wonderful international culture. The neighbouring suburb of Henderson, is home to the shipbuilding industry in Western Australia and has a reputation for luxury motor yachts going back over 20 years.
